🎵 April Mixtape A month of films, festival launches, and plenty in front of (and behind) the camera. April was dominated by filming days for @trivialpursuitleeds , bringing the 2026 summer activation to life. Alongside that, @leedsintfest officially launched, a big moment after months of build-up. We were back creating content for @fujihiro1997 , @laynescafe and @nonowinebar , and out gathering more stories across the city for @welcometoleeds . Elsewhere we produced films for the @yorkshirechildrenscharity awards, recorded new episodes with @threetenseven and started series 3 of @yorkshiretalks , shot green screen work for projects landing later in the year, and filmed the @LeedsBID rangers for their showcase. March was packed with pre-production for a new set of films, while also getting back behind the mic with the @threetenseven podcast. For @welcometoleeds we were back out and about, stopping by @The_Smithfield and @sixbynicoleeds , gathering more stories from across the city. We were also creating content at @fujihiro1997 and @laynescafe , alongside events and content for @nonowinebar . And while it didn’t make the camera roll, there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes with @trivialpursuitleeds @leedsintfest too, prep is well underway, and the launch is nearly here. 🎵 February Mixtape A month of movement and a lot of Laynes. We spent more time than ever at @laynescafe 👀 With @welcometoleeds we were back out across the city, stopping by @Salon.Madre and @Pino.italian and gathering stories as the big refresh builds pace. We also headed to Halifax with first bus, captured fresh photography for a special @leedsbid meeting in Leeds, and visited @fujihiro1997 . Keep your eyes peeled for that one. In the studio, we hosted a @bazaar.studio headshot session and a cheeky social hire for a podcast, plus filmed at @leedsplayhouse for Small Island. Less strategy, more making. Exactly how we like it. 🎵 January Mixtape A month of setting new procedures and finding a much better beat. We had a busy start in the studio, hosting podcast recordings, including a special guest session with more to come soon, and getting stuck into the early episodes of a brand-new health tech podcast. It has been great to have the space properly in use and full of conversation. Honestly, this is what we love most. Much of the month was spent in strategy mode, shaping larger projects and laying the groundwork for launches coming up very soon. A slower pace, but sharper thinking. Documentary-style content continues to do us a lot of favours. Real people, real stories, and the kind of work we care most about making. Add in some very fun equipment hires with absolutely no regrets, and January has quietly delivered. We also wrapped up the final episodes of series two of @yorkshiretalks . @welcometoleeds is heading into a big year too. A full refresh is underway, but it is still very much business as usual, with our biggest and most ambitious storytelling articles to date in the works, alongside plenty of time spent out and about across the city. We have been locked in planning meetings for #LIFI26 and started shaping a fun summer project with @leedsbid . And yes, we basically lived at @laynescake and @laynesbakery for most of the month, so keep an eye on their socials. We spent hours in the Sqew kitchen, filming, watching and trawling through headcam footage, building a series of BTS and pre-opening-the-doors reels. Some didn’t make the final cut. But they show the care, time and creativity that goes into every project we touch. Because sometimes the magic happens when the cameras keep rolling ✨ Big Sam often sings as he preps for the day, A very happy accident we like to call: “It’s a happy little falafel.”
