The team worked reeeeeal hard on this one - HASH BROWNS!! Made from scratch at Laynes, these are delicious crispy coated pillows of flavour served with a peppercorn and onion mayo. They go with everything. Fact.

The guys have been working hard at the bakery to put together a few new items. We've focussed a little more on the savoury pastry options this time though the cheesecake danish is a real sweetie. We've upped our brownie game, too!

WE'RE HIRING AT THE BAKERY!! We're looking for a baker/pastry chef to join us at our production bakery in Armley, near Leeds City Centre. Our bakery grew out of wanting to supply the cafe with items that really stand out from what’s available in other venues. We specialise in what is known as Viennoiserie and this has led us to growing our wholesale offering to a range of outlets found across Leeds. If you have a year or more of experience in a commercial bakery and have knowledge of the world of laminated dough and dough sheeters please get in touch!! Early starts (5am) - so must be able to get to the bakery for this time

Our 'Yorkshire' Rarebit was one of the very first things we ever served at Laynes, other than the coffee. It goes back to when we were in just one room, and everything happened over and behind the coffee bar. What makes it Yorkshire? We're using @hendersonsrelish instead of Worcestershire sauce!
