My first coordination of 2022, congratulations H&J! 💗 I hope you had the most incredible day. Getting to know you lovely people (and Burt, I'll miss him too 🐕) has been an absolute pleasure. Hannah, you're super creative, everything came together so wonderfully ✨ I think you're quite possibly my most chilled bride too, yes to this! 😅 I don't think I stopped all day unless I was eating pie (thanks Baba, it was delicious 😋). What an incredible day! 🥰 Congratulations Mr & Mrs Dickinson, yesterday was absolutely beautiful 💕 I was honestly blown away by the attention to detail, Meg and Chris (mainly Meg 🤣) had thought of everything - all their hard work during the planning and set up seriously paid off. The weather was glorious too ☀️ It was such a pleasure to coordinate your special day and get to know you both as well as your beautiful families. It's a fond farewell to the events industry 🩷 Today on International Women's Day, after nearly 10 years in the wedding industry and organising events since I was 19 - it's time to say goodbye. It feels strange writing this, but at the same time I feel so content and happy that I've made the right decision. Two years ago, I created an additional business. A personal training career that has quite honestly changed my life. With a studio at home since Feb 2025 (the 2nd photo was a moment with lots of confetti to celebrate a year since we launched the SCW Studio 🎊), I have that work life balance I've been so desperate for. More time with family, time with friends and time to focus on my health & wellbeing ✨ I have loved every single celebration I've been so lucky to be a part of. I've travelled across the UK, supporting wonderful couples with their special days and working with incredible suppliers along the way. I hold so many gorgeous memories and will look over my grid with a huge smile on my face for years to come 😍 Thank you so much to you all. Yesterday I joined Jasmyn (@jasmynbackhouse ) + Josh (@josh_backhouse ) for their cracker of a wedding at Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham, West Yorkshire - a funky wedding venue near Leeds with a fun automative twist! With a wedding party of 16, my wingman John (@johnhopephotography ) divided and conquered the (surprisingly relaxed!) mornings preps in the bridal suite and Drivers Club at the Hall. Then it was lovely to do ‘first look’ before the ceremony! These ‘Swifties’ walked in and out to a Taylor Swift songs, and a blast of confetti later, and they were enjoying fizz in Bowcliffe’s Blackburn Wing (shaped like a plane wing!). The weather was kinder than the forecast promised, and guests enjoyed mini stuffed Yorkshire puds and micro cheesecakes on the balcony. Skipping speeches, they went straight into a delicious lamb dinner in the Ballroom, before lawn games in the evening sunshine. Before we knew it, they cut their Giant Millies Cookie ‘Cake’ and lit up the dance floor to more Taylor Swift bangers… What a lovely pair and lovely day at a lovely venue! Big love to Siân Chaplin for event planning and Brooke, Molly & the slick team at Bowcliffe Hall running a brilliant day and high 5s to the newlyweds for putting up with all the pics! 2024 roundup! ✨ Another amazing year of beautiful weddings, personal celebrations, family holidays and the launch of another business! An absolutely joyous wedding day for Rosie and Sammy who were married in the unique setting of Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds in June. Celebrating afterwards at @blackhorseotley , Rosie and Sammy used buckets of seasonal flowers grown by @yorkshirepetals to decorate their venue. Beautifully coordinated by @chaplin_events their bridal bouquets were displayed in vases and added to the relaxed atmosphere and ambience. Such a great pleasure to meet Rosie who was excited but totally chilled about everything. Hey!👋🏻 Here's my face and a little update for you! We're currently away in Marbella on our first two week summer holiday since our honeymoon (eight years ago!). It's incredibly hot, maybe even too hot but it feels so good to be taking a break during the busiest time of year. I'm so grateful to be able to enjoy time with my family and continue to run a business that I love 🩷 I'm getting quite a few enquiries at the moment, with new bookings confirmed for 2025!
