I haven't done an 'about me' post for a while so here it is!
I'm SiΓ’n ππ» personal trainer, mum, wife, coffee addict, chocolate lover, laughs at everything and slightly odd at times (ok all of the time.....) π I found a love for strength training after the birth of our daughter Mabel and have never looked back. Lifting weights has enabled me to feel strong, confident and enhance my overall wellbeing β¨
Thanks to my own personal journey I've since trained to become a PT, launched SCW Training & Coaching and have the joy of supporting men and women in my home studio, online and in a group session environment. I feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing people every week and genuinely love what I do for a living.
It's already been a year of SCW, here's to training my lovely clients with my questionable taste in music and dance moves for years to come! πͺπ»

Today's upper body session felt so good! πͺπΌ A day later than planned but thanks to a longer recovery and listening to my body, I felt strong and ready to push harder π₯
1) Bench Assisted Single Cable Row
2) Rear Delt Flyes
3) Incline Bicep Curls into Standing Bicep Curls
4) Tricep Overhead Cable Extensions into Dips!
5) Negative Pull Ups into Australian Rows
6) Ab Roller
Tomorrow is a busy one for sessions, but I'm hoping to fit in a tempo run as part of my 10k race training plan ππ»ββοΈ Then it's legs again on Thursday π¬π¦΅πΌπ₯

A full body post workout stretch is an absolute must and something I'll always implement into my client sessions as well as my own. My cat Howard doesn't feature every time obviously! π€¦π»ββοΈπΊπ€£
It literally takes five minutes and is incredibly beneficial. A moment of calm allows your body and mind to get back to that pre exercise state, reduce the risk of injury, support flexibility and can help to reduce muscle soreness β¨

I'm absolutely loving new gate life and all the lovely flowers by the entrance πΈ It's been so nice to make use of the outside space during training and offer that all important privacy for my clients. I cannot tell you how happy this space makes me feel. I hope my ladies feel just as happy when they're here too π₯°
To my clients that have their sessions in the afternoon, it's the perfect sun trap sat on the bench so feel free to arrive a few minutes earlier and soak up the sunshine! π
