My beautiful, stylish, strong MAMA. She has never left my side, even though I have yelled and pushed her away many times. To this day, she shows up for me again and again, every moment of our lives. She is the definition of unconditional love. Receiving this kind of care and attention is the greatest gift. One that she so graciously offers her granddaughter Ruby. Even though I fail at times, she deserves to be celebrated every day for being the mother and grandmother she is. Love you forever @lindaglur 💖

Two months ago, I came to Manila with a strong desire to experience my artistry in a new way. Anxious, excited, nervous to step into a proper role with lines and songs. Not to mention, feeling rusty after spending 17 months with a singular focus on my baby girl. Today, I left Manila with an overflowing heart of gratitude, a confidence in myself that I never had before, and a toddler with a stronger bond with her Lola and her Filipino roots. Thank you for making this experience one of growth, transformation, and pure joy! I have had the privilege to be a part of many different ensembles; dancing on tour behind artists, films, tv shows, off broadway, and broadway. What I have loved in each experience is learning from the other artists around me, working together, and collaborating in bringing a story, an experience to life. It’s a feeling of unity, coming together with our unique backgrounds and experiences, and creating something bigger than ourselves, where everyone plays an integral part in the whole. The picture above is a capture of the ensemble from the immersive theater show Fuerza Bruta NY, 2015. This show and more poignantly, this cast changed my life. Since we all knew every track, and found out 30 mins before each show which track we would be performing (and with who), we had to listen to each other, profoundly. We were called to be completely present, honest, and open - to ourselves, each other, and the patrons. This resulted in a wild unfolding burst of life, night after night. Something we all created TOGETHER. To be in an ensemble is an invitation to connect deeply on many levels. What a gift! I am honored to be joining the ensemble of A Chorus Line Philippines and to learn from these beautiful, Filipino artists. Come and see us March 2026! 2025… I exclusively pumped for 10 months until my baby latched for good I called upon my mom leaning on her endlessly I studied my baby’s hands and feet as she discovered their range I fed my baby oxtail, sardines, and bone marrow and witnessed her love of food grow I listened as my baby rolled her r’s in long stretches of sentences I watched my baby take her first steps and turn those into grooves I enjoyed every bit of time with friends as they loved upon my baby I slept very little danced even less but happily lived side by side with my little love RUBY

My 40th birthday gift was Ruby and my 41st gift is still Ruby. To learn and grow together, side by side, to witness her firsts, to witness mine as a mother, is quite a treasure. One that is rich with heartache and glory.. and everything under the sun. She forever changed me. Now as I celebrate my time on this earth, I will always be grateful to share it with her.
