The process of mounting A Chorus Line with @theatregroupasia has been such a meaningful ride for me. I learned and re-learned so many things that reminded me why I love doing this in the first place. Every rehearsal brought me back to the basics—discipline, listening, trusting the process, and showing up fully in the room. Some days were smooth, some days chaotic, and some days I was like, “wait… do I actually know how to dance?” But that’s the beauty of it—it keeps you humble and hungry as an artist.
Being surrounded by such passionate people made the process even more special. Everyone was giving their all, figuring things out together, and still finding moments to laugh. Working with Theater Group Asia made it even more meaningful—they’ve been so kind to us, treating us less like employees and more like COUSINS 😂, always making sure we feel cared for and supported. Huge thank you to our producers, the artistic and production teams, our incredible backstage team, and my amazing castmates for making this journey so special. So many lessons, so many memories, and so much gratitude for this journey. And now, after all the work and sweat—we step on the line, the lights come up, and that’s where the story begins. ✨

Always a treat to move and fully own Karla’s choreography. From her very first class in 2020—those IG classes during the pandemic—to the second class in 2022, up to now, it’s always kilig learning from this star. Haha.
Thank you, @karlapunogarcia and Tita @ellapgarcia for replying to me back in 2020. 😂🫶🏼 That simple moment meant a lot. And now here we are—about to open A Chorus Line in less than a week! Still feels surreal.
Feeling very lucky to be learning, growing, and sharing the stage with such incredible people. Can’t wait for what’s ahead!
