A little over 7 years ago, the universe paved the way for me to move to my dream city, with what was at the time, my dream job. ✨   Moving to NYC 🗽was a lifelong dream come true for me for so many reasons, but ultimately I knew it would expand my professional network & provide me with experiences that would ultimately lead me to my next career move. When I say the universe pulls you in the direction that you need to go, I mean GTFOTW -bc the universe moves & it moves fast! ⚡️ Divine timing. ⏰ I’ve learned to TRUST IN IT SO MUCH (even when I don’t understand it).✨ After 10 years as in-house publicist for @palaceresorts & @leblancresorts , today was my last day as vice president of public relations. This place has been a family for me since day one- a hit the ground running educational, crisis mode, celebrity spotting, reality show making, key message drafting, budgeting playground  & I’ve had the most INCREDIBLE  & FUN experiences one could EVER ask for in a job, literally EVER. I took part in launching our first resort outside of Mexico (carrying 8 massive ribbon-cutting scissors in my carry-on) & shaking hands with the prime minister in Jamaica. I helped inaugurate the massive Moon Palace Arena, the largest convention center in Cancun. I watched Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos build from the ground up- inaugurating it with the dreamiest president Mexico has ever had, @epn ❤️. I helped @neneleakes have the most over-the-top bachelorette with the #RHOA & have been there to witness @teresagiudice in action while we filmed multiple seasons & episodes of #RHONJ. I got to spend time w/@Usher as I moderated a roundtable discussion with press at Moon Palace Cancun & shook my bon-bon w/ @ricky_martin -I’ve interviewed & cooked w/two #michelinstarchef bringing their experiences  to our resorts in the name of charity. And I met legendary French oceanographer, #jeanmichelecousteau while filming oceanic documentary in #Cozumel My tolerance for spicy 🌶 tacos 🌮 is unmatched and the levels of boujie tequila 🥃and mezcal I’ve been able to consume is beyond impressive and a pricy habit I will carry with me forever.  🤣 And even when you put all of that aside (and trust me there’s SO MUCH MORE),  the best part of my experience has been the people I’ve met along the way, the relationships I’ve built, and the friendships I’ve made.🌎💖✈️ I will forever be eternally grateful for this beautiful experience, but baby, it’s time to go- it’s time to grow.  🚀 #thankyouforcomingtomytedtalk #palaceresorts #leblancsparesort

The España journey continues 🍷🇪🇸 #cessietravels How cute is my papi? I’m obsessed with him. He’s the equivalent of #DannyTanner and the Cuban Mr. Rogers (iykyk). Zaragoza’s “El Tubo” nightlife was soooo fun! @bodegasalmau was THE spot - the cutest vintage wine bodega with hundreds of wines from the region. Surprisingly had some of the best pizza 🍕 I wasn’t expecting to have some of the best Cuban food of my life outside of Miami, but @cubalindarestaurante was just that! We met the owners-Cuban exiles that ended up in Spain (like so many) and of course there was talk of a free Cuba 🇨🇺- as the Cubans like to say- #yavienellegando - We also made a local friend- Ramon- local who charmed us with his life story- including the fact that he hates planes and has never left Spain as a result which honestly made me so sad for him. What’s a life without seeing the world?🌎 Pero bueno to each his own. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Made a pit stop in Monserrat - sibling photo✨ Last 3 slides are of Girona- a town I was excited to visit but was unimpressed with. Costa Brava was actually muy feliz ✨💙 I looooved this little coastal town- Tossa de Mar 🌊 Clear blue water, castles, lighthouse, the cutest village shops, seaside views, the best croquetas and my fav is the last slide- where abuelo came to visit. 🦋 Ps. I also picked up this niche perfume @carnerbarcelona in Barcelona and it smells like the sea 🌊! My new travel fixation is influenced by @kathleenlights which is buying a local niche perfume on the first day, and wear it every day to make a scent memory of the whole trip. Anyone have a cheese cube? I’m getting hungry. 🧀🤣 Where were you guys on May 1? @tdwp2 is living proof, that you can make a sequel (one we didn’t know we needed) and make it almost as iconic as the first! I say, ALMOST because nothing is ever as good as the original. 👠👠👠👠👠 So crazy to think that when the first movie came out, I only dreamt about living in New York City ( guys, I was that girl with the sidekick -the pink juicy couture, limited edition, one that is ). 20 years later, I manifested that! Seeing my favorite city on the big screen is always so inspiring- bc I’m living my dream and also because she’s SO pretty. Did you guys watch the movie?’ 🍿What did you guys think?! I loved all the nuances and especially love how we saw a softer more relatable side of Miranda. One that acknowledges that her career has cost her many things. But she’s unapologetic about the fact that she’s married to the hustle and she loves to work. I came back with a torn rotator cuff, and the lesson learned here is, - do your due diligence to convert kilos to pounds- but really-don’t work out while on vacation- (except do you see how those traps were starting to pop 👀) because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t still be dealing with this annoying pain, but I digress. 🤣🤣 It’s been a month since our DR trip but I finally found the time to sort through some of my favorites. How gorgeous is @ariannagab on her wedding day?! I gad excellent dance partners @jznotthatjayz and @manouska_jay - we hands down made the dance floor our stages! 💃🕺🪩 I’m also obsessed with the personalized hats that Ari had at her welcome party. Calling it the wedding of the year! A week ago today, we were celebrating the nuptials of my beautiful friend @ariannagab and her love- @jay_thebroker in the beautiful island of Republica Dominicana 🇩🇴 It was an incredible weekend filled with love, laughter, lots of Benito and Caribbean vibes! A time was had!! Still recovering from all the dancing, boating and beaching! Happy International Women’s Day! I’m proud to be a Latina, female-founded business! Four years ago, right around this time, I made the biggest bet of my life—I bet on myself. I turned my side-hustle into a full-time business and launched my own company @cessiecpr . I took that leap and built a business on sheer delusion, faith, confidence, and the belief that the relationships I’ve built, the reputation I’ve worked hard for, and the quality of the work I’ve put out into the world would speak for itself. Throughout my career journey I’ve been called all the things women get called—too emotional, too much, difficult, aggressive. Usually for things like speaking up, wanting more, taking the lead, or pushing back when something doesn’t feel right. You know the list. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been told to tone it down. But if we’re being real, those same labels are exactly what get things done!! Here’s what I know: women are powerful. We lead with passion, strength, and resilience. Most of us have had to work twice as hard just to be taken seriously—and we still show up and get it done. Happy International Women’s Day.
