With her permission, I’m sharing these lovely excerpts from @georgerexcomics sketchbook, made during my conversation with Andrew Purvis at the closing event of my recent exhibition ‘The Apparitionist’ at Floating Goose Studios. For those that don’t know Gina is a fantastic comic book and zine creator and you should all pre-order her upcoming graphic memoir ‘Oh Brother’, which will be published by Penguin Books in early 2026. This is the last week to catch Jingwei Bu's beautiful exhibition, Punch. This show is a heartfelt consideration of the way in which language and communication defines who we are. Comprised of a multiple moving image works, large-scale sculptures, and performance artefacts, this is a special experience, not to be missed! 📸 by @samrophoto

This is the last week to catch Michael Carney's exceptional exhibition, Stadiumkraft. Featuring deserted sporting grounds, hemmed by encroaching vegetation, this show evokes the disquieting sense of an implacable fecundity in a post-apocalyptic world. Combining painting, ceramics, sound, and digital animation, this is an incredible show and an amazing demonstration of Carney's polymath talents. The show will be open this Saturday for ACSA's Open Day - 10am - 4pm. 📸 by @samrophoto

This painting from my currently showing solo "Stadiumkraft" at @adelaidecentralschool is probably my favourite. The work was painted on sheets of aluminium that had been cut into tennis court patterns. Photos by @samrophoto

Opening tomorrow night: A Garden of Forking Paths, featuring Eleanor Amor, Caitlin Bowe, and Peter Walker. I am so proud of this exhibition and excited to share it with you all. There are some beautiful works in the show, the curation of which was inspired by the visual motif of the maze or labyrinth. Please come along, it would be so wonderful to see you all there! 📸@samrophoto
