As Skratcher of the Year 2025 comes to a close, we want to send a sincere thank you to everyone who supported this year’s battle and helped keep the energy around it alive. Much respect to every DJ who took part and submitted for this year’s competition. The time, creativity, and level of skill that went into each round is what made this event what it was, and we appreciate every single one of you for being part of it. A special shout out goes to our final 3 DJs — PAD, Chederac, and Celly — for making the last round one of the toughest to judge. Each of you brought your own level of skill, creativity, and approach to the final, and you made it a difficult decision all the way through. We also want to give a special thank you to our esteemed tie-breaker judges DJ D-Styles, I.Q, and Prolifix for lending their time, experience, and perspective to help bring this year’s battle to a close. Here it is. My entry for the final round of the Skratcher of the Year battle. Put on by @skratchernet . Good luck to the other competitors! Stoked to see the heat that everyone brings! I played around with using DVS for this one. Ultimately, vinyl felt right for this final round. Always loved this @redmisttt record so I decided to use that and see what I could come up with.
