This morning I emailed my MP to express my concern about how our govt is positioning itself (and our people) in the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Emailing my MP is about the only democratic vehicle we have to speak up in this country and while I think it will have little to no effect, I urge any of you who also feel concerned about how things are going right now to do the same. This war is not ours, our people do not be put at risk as a result of it. We need to stand NOW as a pillar of peace, not delivered through violence.
