Resident Advisor and event series INTERVENTION are launching a brand new roadshow, offering free DJ workshops for underrepresented people in 12 cities across the UK to celebrate INTERVENTION's 5th birthday... And not gonna lie, we're pretty effin' excited that they've chosen Nottingham as the first stop of the tour!!
To kick off proceedings for our city fest, the session will be running next Friday October 8th for beginners and prioritising people from marginalised communities. Even more excitingly, it will be run by INTERVENTION founder, NTS 404 show host and all-round seminal DJ, Ifeoluwa; who recently made headlines with the launch of her brand new, digital archive for underground and experimental dance music.

@dirtyfilthysexy are proud to present to you a Pre-Pride P(arty) consisting of a multimedia arts exhibition, live music performance and workshops designed to promote LGBTQIA community cohesion and collaboration in the City.
This event will be the perfect start to Nottingham’s Pride Weekend celebrations and allow the community to reconnect with itself after such a difficult period of isolation especially for people without access to an LGBTQIA support network.
Beginning at 3pm with the sign making workshop throughout the afternoon with Franx Franklin and progressing to live music, art, lockdown video installations and DJs in the evening until 11pm.
As part of Scalarama's month-long celebration of cinema and film, we have taken 13 (one for every year DirtyFilthySexy has been running) Drag performance videos created during the pandemic. To celebrate the new skills and time and energy spent into making these unique pieces of art happen, we wanted to show that just because the world is slowly moving back to how it was, these pieces of media art should not be forgotten.
Entry is Pay what you can (suggested donation of £4) with all monies collected to be shared between local charities The Wolfpack Project and Notts LGBT+ Network.

Originally planned as the 'Fisher Gate Point Summer Sessions' set to take place indoors across 6 weeks, we decided to club all the might of our Summer parties together for one bigger, safer and more responsible outdoor day festival in the heart of Nottingham’s industrial quarter.
Think a multi-stage blowout with all of the artists who were set to play for us this Summer, but outdoors where the city's most picturesque backdrops will see you through from day to night.
For those of you who joined us for our Open Air boot off on freedom weekend, you know we’re not messing about. We’re taking over 3x more space than the Open Air, adding 2 new stages, 6 more artists and building our largest scale installation to date.
Thank you for sticking with us through the past 2 years. We’re so buzzing to be back doing what we do best and love you all.
