Affirmations name what already exists, while mantras invite what’s emerging. I view these as a bit of both, or in some cases a transition from one point to the next.
We know how important the words we say to ourselves are. I hope this inspires you to adopt these, or create others that feel true to you, and let them shape your reality. Through reading them consistently and writing them down often, this dialogue became second nature for me.
If we’re alike, and your default is to process everything deeply, you don’t get to be careless about what you carry. Our inner dialogue is often repetitive, and when left unchecked, it can quietly impact our emotional hygiene.
So, speak kindly and allow yourself to dream. Most of the time, it’s us standing in our own way. You want what you want because future you already has it 🫰🏼

The Countdown to Kasa of Merriment ✨
A collaborative holiday presentation by Kasa Vida Shoppe, Ma Chérie Floral Design, Celine’s Art, and Ojoie.
Saturday the 13th, we’ll be opening the doors to an elevated, design-focused experience featuring @kasavidashoppe ’s newest pieces, the first collection of paintings, created for Kasa Vida by local Artist, Celine Brossart (@celinesart ), sculptural slow-made jewelry from @ojoieforjoy , and floral arrangements from @macheriefloraldesign created exclusively for the event.
The evening includes considered bites and wine, creating a seamless and inspiring atmosphere to move through and explore.

The deliberate restraint of each band creates a sense of containment, as though time itself has been set aside, unspilled, preserved. The open upper space breathes possibility, while the lower field roots the piece in the inevitability of time passing. Together, they hold a tension between what has been and what is yet to come, with the middle strip reminding us that in every moment, we stand at that threshold.
Unspilled Hours becomes a meditation on time; on the space between action and inaction, fullness and emptiness, the already and the not-yet. It invites stillness, suggesting that time is not a race to spend, but something we can hold, preserve, and let be.

This space was a whimsical work of art and evidence that inspiration can bloom for me in neutrality, and in vibrant spaces, because it is the essence of who I am. The calm of neutral tones and the brilliance of colour.
Environments can shape the mood, but the magic is already ours.
