MADE IN SOMOS – OPEN STUDIOS Friday, November 28, 2025 | 6–9 PM This edition of Made in SomoS brings visitors into the studios and gallery to encounter new developments by four artists working across painting, illustration, spatial research, and ceramic micro-architectures. Australian painter Grace Harper (@graceinthe.wild ) introduces recent work shaped by her inquiry into perception and the emotional resonance of gesture, advancing her emerging series Portraits of Time. South Korean artist Youlim Kim (@drawingyulim ), in residence through a grant from the Busan Cultural Foundation, continues to expand her hybrid pictorial language, drawing from German painting traditions and narrative illustration. Interdisciplinary artist and landscape architect @cecilhowell presents research examining how environments record cultural and geological histories, extending her spatial investigations into new artistic territories. London-based artist @barbara_tong shares new work from her evolving Berlin chapter of Cityscape, a series of intimate ceramic studies informed by walking, observation, and urban experience. Join us to meet the artists, see works in progress, have a drink, and experience the breadth of perspectives currently shaping SomoS’ residency.
