I should probably fix the ceiling.
But here’s my work in progress, my working process —
Layers and layers and layers and layers.
Putting them down and erasing them
and putting them down again.
They can’t always be erased.
Oil paint and glazes.
A colour field
of techno pulses,
trance-like, vast,
temporary.
We keep trying to hold something
that can’t be held.

Lessons learned along the way:
1. Everything takes longer than expected. Like… way, way longer.
2. I need to hang in private. I cannot be perceived and also have my mind focus in that way.
3. Sometimes you’ve gotta call in for backup. For this project, I had to let go of wanting to do every little bit myself and call in some friends.
I’ve already got an idea for 2.0 version of this concept, requiring significantly more space. Wish me luck

Exploring the invisible movements of the mind as atmospheric states, shaped by pressure, repetition, and return.
The series began intuitively at @somos.berlin in Berlin, approaching the canvas with a clear mind and stepping away when too much conscious thought crept in. It became a kind of trance-like process.
The installation extends this language into space, inviting the viewer into an embodied, atmospheric state.
