I share with you my favorites from the last session with Walter in Concha Cave 🐚🤍 We went the day before together with Demian to get to know the navigation and decide the best locations for the photo shoot. It is very important to calculate times, consumptions and set a number of locations “stations” before organizing a cave session. When I saw that tunnel for the first time, wow, it’s not something you see every day, it was clear to me, that’s where it was going to be! Like the results? Do you want professional photos in cavern or cave area? Wrecked and loving it. Diving the C-56 Juan Escutia off Puerto Morelos is like stepping into a living time capsule teeming with marine life and history. Sunk in 2000 to create an artificial reef, this 56-meter WWII minesweeper now hosts schools of snapper, barracuda, and the occasional eagle ray gliding by. With its intact structure and easy access, it’s a favorite for wreck lovers and curious adventurers alike. Join us at Devocean México for an unforgettable dive into the past just minutes from shore, but worlds away. 📸 @alfredminnaarphotography #DevoceanMéxico #WreckDiving #C56Wreck #PuertoMorelosDiving #ScubaLife #DiveIntoAdventure #WreckAddict #PADI #DiveTravel @doxawatchesofficial

After more than one year doing cave diving I can express the feeling of diving through the cave underground of the jungle “ “Envision descending into the calm depths of a serene cave, where the world above gently fades into the background. You’re left with nothing but peace, tranquility, and a deep sense of relaxation. As you glide effortlessly through the crystal-clear waters, the quiet hum of your rebreather is the only sound, enveloping you in stillness. The water caresses ancient limestone formations, meticulously sculpted over thousands of years. Stalactites and stalagmites stand like nature’s masterpieces, leading you through this breathtaking underwater journey. At every turn, a new marvel awaits—a world preserved through time. The weightlessness of your dive feels as though you are floating through history, witnessing a pristine beauty that few have the privilege to see. The peaceful ambiance of the cave takes you far from the rush of daily life. Here, it’s just you, the cave, and the rhythmic flow of your breath. Gliding through the stillness, you move with grace among formations shaped over millennia. The silence is profound, broken only by the soft flicker of your dive light, illuminating the majestic structures hidden in the shadows. This is not just a dive; it’s an exploration into Earth’s hidden wonders, where the diver and the cave are united in perfect harmony.” Diver : @cd_wschmit81 Location : cenote xulo #CaveDiving #RebreatherDiving #DiscoverTranquility #ExploreWithRespect @tritonccr @diveshearwater @xdeepmexico @xdeep_dive_gear @bigbluedivinglightsmexico @mekanphotography @iantdhq @iantdca

Every logo tells a story and this one represents much more than just a design. The inspiration behind Devocean Divers Mexico came from combining several important elements of our diving philosophy and identity. First, we wanted to honor the original idea and logo of @devoceandivers Malapascua , the place where the vision, passion, and spirit of exploration first began. The original design became the foundation and inspiration for this new evolution. The second element comes from the world of cave diving: the cave cookie. For non-cave divers, cookies are personal navigation markers used on guideline systems inside caves and cenotes. They help divers identify routes, exits, teams, and safety references during complex dives. These markers are an essential part of cave diving culture, communication, and safety…also they come from here in late 1990’s By combining the concept of the cave cookie with the original Devocean identity, we created a logo that represents both worlds together: exploration, safety, education, and adventure. The colors and shape symbolize the connection between ocean diving and the incredible underground world of caves and cenotes in Mexico. This logo represents our vision: teaching with passion, exploring responsibly, and sharing the beauty of cave and cenote diving with divers from around the world. Small size. Massive power. 🔦🔥 The new @orcatorch orca7, proves that serious performance can come in a compact torch. With an incredible 3000 lumens, this backup light cuts through darkness with ease, making it perfect for cavern and cave diving environments. During last week I was trying out with real divers the performance of the torch like getting their own feedback. In low visibility and overhead environments, having a powerful and reliable backup light is not just comfort it’s safety. The focused beam makes it incredibly easy to guide divers, communicate underwater, and keep the team together during cavern tours or cave training dives. Compact, lightweight, and extremely powerful exactly what every diver needs clipped to their harness. 🤿 At @devocean_divers_mex , we trust equipment that performs when it matters most. #OrcaTorch #CaveDiving #CavernDiving #TechnicalDiving #DiveLight ScubaDiving DevoceanDivers MexicoDiving DiveMexico TecDiving UnderwaterExploration

I Took the new @orcatorch #orca7 out for a proper test dive in Cozumel, and this time the conditions were about as good as it gets “clear, blue water and exceptional visibility”. Perfect for seeing what the light can really do when it’s not fighting the environment. We dropped down to around 30 meters, where colors start to fade and natural light falls off fast, even in pristine conditions. That’s where a torch stops being optional and starts becoming essential. At depth, I had my buddies in position himself roughly few meters away and switched the Orca 7 on at full power. In that crystal clear water, the beam was incredibly clean and defined. You could see the hotspot travel through the water column with almost zero scatter, and it reached him effortlessly. It wasn’t just visible it sharply outlined his entire profile and gear with real clarity. What really stands out in good visibility is how precise and controlled the beam is. Instead of diffusing, it stays tight and powerful, cutting straight through the blue. The spill is balanced — wide enough to maintain situational awareness, but without washing out the scene or losing intensity. Battery performance was rock solid throughout the dive, and the build quality feels as dependable as you’d expect no flicker, no dimming, just consistent, strong output from start to finish. In perfect conditions like Cozumel at 30 meters, the Orca 7 doesn’t just perform it shines. It’s one thing to work in harsh environments, but seeing it operate this cleanly in ideal water really highlights the quality of the beam and overall design and light weight #OrcaTorch #Orca7 #DiveLights #scubadiving
