In āThe Pavilionā weāve noticed some trends in this town, this party: the women are allied w/ women, looking out for each other, and their husbands prefer to hang w/ the boys. Underneath the story and themes, the playwright points at marriage a bit, and asks us to look closer at these long-term partnerships - sometimes filled with resentment and just enough habit to keep them going, other times harboring a love thatās still underneath the banal, fighting to be felt.

Such an exhilarating infusion to our rehearsal process! Thank you to our instructors Chad @glazenerstudio and Isabel McTighe (and to our brilliant director @oh_yawnathan for setting us up with the delightful surprise) šā¤ļøš
Actors! Highly recommend exploring Suzuki/viewpoints if you havenāt yetāsuch a powerful tools to drop into your physicality and train your instrument, and this series at @pete.ensemble is all levels - donāt be intimidated! Itās powerful but accesible :) Weāll be back! āŗļø
