Applications for our 2026-2027 Institute for Contemporary Performance Cohort are now open! Come join us in our year-long program geared toward helping artists refine their voice and dig into the depths of what they are capable of creating in performance art. Under the guidance of professional, working artists, we provide trainings in Suzuki, Viewpoints, Alexander Technique, Devising and Voice training. Participants are engaged with faculty on a daily basis with questions relevant to contemporary performance. The training culminates in a self- produced festival of site specific work.
Applications are due June 1, 2026; visit /icp-apply for more information. We're excited to see your applications!

Make your way down to Portland Playhouse before June 7 to see The Spongebob Musical!
“The end of the world is coming. At least, that’s what the citizens of Bikini Bottom believe when a volcano threatens to wipe them off the map. As panic spreads and doomsday schemes take hold, one unlikely hero emerges: SpongeBob SquarePants. With the help of his best friends, he sets out to prove that hope, heart, and a little bit of courage can change everything.”
