A full week of curly/wavy hair: Day 2🧚🏽‍♀️ I'm on the hunt for ONE product that helps refresh the curls and avoids another full routine on day 2 hair. First impression: This reviving mist smells really good. I do think the ingredients are genius, (micellar water) and it didn't leave a white cast like a dry shampoo might. This curly hair routine was my day 1 over 2.5 years ago and absolutely never fails me. Rankings are in!🥇 As a reminder, my skin is on the dryer side and I was really on the hunt for an everyday natural-finish, medium coverage, hydrating foundation. 6️⃣ @rarebeauty True to Myself: A bit too thick for me. It dried really fast, you just have to be sure to seriously prep before applying if you're on the dryer side. I do love that they offer 48 shades. 5️⃣ @esteelauder Double Wear: This applied really nicely, it felt very dewy, looks great but it's fuller coverage. I'll be reaching for it for special occasions - points off for the inconvenience of not having a pump! 4️⃣ @benefitcosmetics Porefessional: I was pleasantly surprised! Felt light, great shade match, definitely an every day foundation. 3️⃣ @armanibeauty Luminous Silk: When I tell you that this was the silkiest, smoothest, most natural-finish foundation that's ever touched my face ‼️ It was really stunning, but so pricey that I can't place it higher. 2️⃣ @narsissist Natural Radiant: I didn't show y'all this one but I've been using it for over a year and really is a tried and true. 1️⃣ @hauslabs Skin Tech: A couple bucks cheaper than NARS, it was giving light, everyday, glowy, medium-coverage, not doing too much, just absolutely loved it, no notes! Monday night bingo in Charlotte!🟣 I went to my first bingo night yesterday and was SO close to winning a 55” TV, (only needed one more spot on my Bingo card), didn’t leave with the W but did have a blast! Being true to myself here… I didn’t fall in love with @rarebeauty 's True to myself foundation. My skin is on the dryer side and since it claims to prime I expected it to be much more hydrating, but it dried so fast and almost feels patchy on my skin. Might be best for oily/normal skin.
