The Casting Guild of Australia endorses the International Casting Directors Association’s guidelines on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in casting. The ICDA released these guidelines last night at Cannes Film Festival, to address the growing ethical, creative, and professional challenges posed by the increasing use of AI within the casting Industry. We hope that the development of these guidelines will protect artistic integrity, and the practises of casting and acting professionals.
