Wolfram star Deborah Mailman talks about her part in the film. She's especially positive about the chance to portray the long-standing relationships between Aboriginal families and Chinese, Japanese and Afghan migrants. "It is a really untold story.". Wolfram is an Australian Western set during the mining rush of the 1930s. It's an adventure about solidarity and redemption, and it's in cinemas now! Don't miss the chance to see it on the big screen. Get discount tix to see it and read our deep dive at www.good.film/guide, or DM us for the link. #wolframfilm #deborahmailman #warwickthornton #newmovie #australianfilm

Warwick Thornton's new film Wolfram is a redemptive, hard-won Australian Western. He's called it the 'antidote' for the 'darkness and poison' of his earlier film, Sweet Country. Speaking to him before a Q&A preview screening at @dendy_newtown , he said that Wolfram incorporates lots of truths from family oral history, but weaves them into something new and empowering. We had a great chat, and his Q&A with Deborah Mailman was epic, so we've pulled together some of the best moments in a deep-dive Guide about the film. Read it at www.good.film/guide or send a DM for the direct link 📮 @wolframfilm is in cinemas now! Don't miss the chance to catch it on the big screen: like all of Thornton's films, it's a breathtaking experience. #wolframfilm #warwickthornton #newmovie #australianfilm #filmdirector

Wolfram (2026) Q&A with Director Warwick Thornton. I had the opportunity to meet and speak to the director and cast of Wolfram, Warwick Thornton, Deborah Mailman, Thomas M. Wright, and Luka May Glynn-Cole, at a Q&A held at @cinemanova last Tuesday. Although only a small moment in the grand scheme of things, it was still incredible to get to "interview" a film maker and ask about why they strive to make the art that they do. After all, I feel like I've made it pretty clear that movies are my special interest haha, so that was pretty sick. Wolfram is in cinemas this Thursday, April 30th, go and see it and support Australian cinema and Australian stories. Thank you to everyone involved for this opportunity. And shoutout @joebird__ , he gotta be one of my favourite genres of movie fr fr. #wolframfilm #joebird #cinemanova #interview #cinema
