The support of @inhus_group , delivering the full precast design-build superstructure on Kellstone, has been paramount in achieving an efficient programme at @airepark . This approach also enabled the delivery of a floor every two weeks while maintaining rigorous design quality for @vastintuk .
This innovative approach meant completing a new floor every two weeks, all while upholding the highest design quality. Over 60 percent of the facade uses a single pre-cast panel type. This not only sped up the build schedule but also significantly boosted efficiency and minimised waste.

Exploring the nuances of balcony design.
Architectural Assistant Lola Tartakover studies how handrail articulation shapes both the character and scale of a façade. The model explores a curved balcony edge with inboard balusters paired with solid balustrade panels, creating a layered threshold that balances safety, transparency, and visual softness.
@york.central has reached an important milestone with the submission of the latest planning application for phase 1. The £2 billion masterplan will deliver new homes, workplaces and public spaces, creating a major new city quarter next to York Station.
Our team is designing Plot E, a mixed tenure residential neighbourhood that contributes to this wider vision. The scheme proposes 129 homes across apartments and townhouses. The scheme applies Passivhaus principles and modern methods of construction to support low energy performance and reduced whole life carbon. Inclusive layouts and a close relationship with the new Central Park promote health and well-being for the residents. The architecture takes reference from York’s material heritage through robust and carefully detailed brickwork to create a contemporary and durable character. Flexible commercial uses along Cinder Street help to form an active public realm and support the early establishment of a new community.
York Central is being brought forward by @mclarenpropertygroup and Arlington Real Estate, Homes England, @networkrail , in collaboration with @cityofyorkcouncil and @nationalrailwaymuseum . We are pleased to contribute to this significant project.

Kellstone, designed for @vastintuk , is a seven-storey scheme set to redefine the city's commercial landscape, offering 75,000 sqft of Grade A office space and 7,000 sqft of vital ground-floor retail. Its unique curved bullnose design creates a prominent gateway to @airepark and the Tetley Triangle.

Natasha qualifies as an architect!
A big congratulations to Natasha for passing her Part III exams! After an extensive journey of work and study, she is now officially recognised as an ARB-registered architect.

Completed for Quintain in 2020, Beton at Wembley Park brought a bold, sculptural presence to the neighbourhood, with its distinctive precast concrete façade, deep-set balconies, and rhythmic structural grid adding texture and permanence to the public realm.
Designed with longevity in mind, flexible apartment layouts, durable materials, and generous shared amenities, from coworking spaces and a cinema to roof terraces, foster adaptability, connection, and a strong sense of community.
