It was an honor to work alongside Dylan who’s been a huge inspiration as a filmmaker and storyteller, thank you brother for trusting me. The film gods delivered on this one. Epic team assembled for an epic project.
8 days went by in the blink of an eye. It was inspiring to have creative badasses @somocollective.co and @shapirothehero here to work on an impactful and beautiful project with @catberad and myself. Thankful for all of you, and excited for what’s in store 🙏

Cheers to @alex_magoon and his dirty 30 spent deep in the crater. He lives a life many would dream of, and he’s just getting started. Proud to have him as a best bro since birth, and stoked we got to send it into the house of the rising sun for his birthday. Love you bro.

Mont Blanc, the white mountain. A mountain so mighty that glaciers still exist on its slopes, extending from ~16,000 feet, down to ~6000 feet in elevation. It is a mountain so epic that every year, runners from around the world come to race extreme distances. Since the beginning of mountaineering, the Alps have been challenging the limits of human potential.
Cat took part in the races again this year. This time more fit and prepared than she’s been in years. She approached it like a true professional. Knowing the pitfalls these races can entail, and focusing on the process rather than the glory on the other side of the finish line. She has the fitness that took her literal years to forge through dedication and discipline. In short, she’s an absolute weapon.
Life will always find a way to test your limits, even when it seems like everything is lining up perfectly. Mont Blanc had a different test for Cat this year as her knee erupted in pain on the first descent, forcing her to re-consider the race only 6 miles in.
To be a leader at this most competitive of stages, athletes must ride the fine line that exists between breaking, and being one of the fastest in the world. This line must be held with an iron will, while praying you don’t fall off course.
Cat ran to the halfway point, with her knee screaming bloody murder on every downhill before she made the gut-wrenching decision to mitigate the damage and stop.
She cried for days when she came down from this race, feeling the mountain of effort she put forth weighing down on her, picking up pieces of her confidence after it had shattered on the granite of Mont Blanc.
People applaud the winners. You don’t often see the person that takes a knee, swallowing their pride and enduring the pain that stays with them after feeling like they’ve failed.
Cat, this wasn’t a failure. Having the strength to get back up, hobble around Chamonix with tears on your face, strategizing ways to build from this is what makes you one of the best in the world. This race was another notch in the belt, and I have no doubt you will grow stronger from it. You are stubborn, tough, and you are a damn professional.

Madeira is the steepest island I could imagine.
It’s got Insane hills, stone trails, cliffs everywhere, with zero flatland, and a super brutal race called the @miutmadeira 85k. Congrats on 2nd place @catberad ! I love being your support crew ♥️
Successful trip. Definitely didn’t stall the stick shift a couple times 🤫⛰️🚗
