As 🇺🇸 National team athletes, our winter's been a whirlwind of World Cup travel, but we're seriously grateful to have discovered @shipskis . Now that we're heading into the off-season, we used Ship Skis to make sure our skis get home safely– no more dragging skis through airports for us!
Finished up the season with some great racing in🇨🇭!
Villars World Cup: super proud to make the heats in my first senior sprint and get top 10 in an A final mixed relay with Arthur! Incredibly cool experince to line up with Olympians and World Cup leaders and I can’t wait for more senior races next year!
PDG with Helen and Robine: Hands down the coolest race I’ve ever done and such an awesome day. Stoked to take home the 🥇 and achieve our goal of sub-4 hours!

From figure skating to skimo, Carson Leys is our next athlete who has earned her first World Cup start this season! Carson started racing when she was in 8th grade by joining Silverfork Skimo. From there she quickly discovered that her all time favorite races were the A basin vertical and of course, the Wasatch Powderkeg. With a knack for moving very quickly both up steep climbs and down technical descents Carson is an athlete that not only has many national titles under her belt, but also some very impressive international racing results. She looks up to Sarah Cookler, her long time skimo coach and the woman who got her into the sport as well as all her female teammates who have offered so much support, competition, and encouragement over the years. Carson’s all time favorite thing about skimo is the feeling of training afterschool with friends and the magical feeling of getting in the car after practice feeling tired and cold, but so so happy.
Carson, you are amazing and it is so cool to see you enter this new chapter in your Skimo career! Go tear it up! And GO USA! 🦅
Thank you🇨🇭for an incredible week of racing! Perfect weather, beautiful courses, and the absolute best people. I learned so much at this year’s World Championships and I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing team! Congrats to everyone and thanks @usaskimo and @ismf_skimo . Back home for a few weeks, then the final YWC of the season!
