@martagarciafarres built a career defined by endurance, consistency, and determination, becoming a constant presence at the top of ski mountaineering. Now that your racing career has come to an end, will skiing still be part of your life? “I hope skiing will always be part of my day-to-day life. I love being in the mountains and skiing in winter, so I’ll do my best to be able to ski a few days during the week.” And what kind of skis do you imagine yourself using now? “I really like using light skis because they feel more nimble on the mountain. But I’d also like to have some wider touring skis, like the Maestro, for great descents in fresh snow.” Will you look at the mountains differently? “My relationship with the mountains will stay the same: a place of peace and freedom, where you can share experiences but also be alone. Now I hope to make the most of the powder days, without having to follow a training plan.” Thank you, Marta, for sharing this incredible journey with us. Wishing you all the best for what’s ahead. ✨ #skitrabber

OFF THE BEATEN TRACKS w/ @cobra_l93 Urner Haute Route, Switzerland: 50 km and 5,500 m D+ in 4 days. With our ambassador Enrico Lovato, a traverse from Andermatt to Engelberg via Göscheneralpsee and Sustenpass, crossing glacial terrain and high-altitude passages. Glacier skiing, long and continuous descents, and nights in small huts surrounded by wide, remote alpine landscapes. “A little-traveled traverse, with beautiful descents across several glaciers and nights spent in small, characteristic mountain huts.”

Since 2005, the @ismf_skimo World Cup has celebrated the most complete athletes on the international circuit: consistency, technique, speed, and performance across the entire season. 🏆 With Giulia Murada, a new chapter is added to Ski Trab’s Overall World Cup history. A story written by champions such as Francesca Martinelli, Roberta Pedranzini, Laetitia Roux, Guido Giacomelli, Dennis Brunod, Manfred Reichegger, Michele Boscacci and Robert Antonioli. Different generations, same Skitrabber spirit. Thank you all for taking us to the top step of the podium. We can’t wait to keep writing this story. ⛰️✨ #skitrabber Photo credit © ISMF sportdimontagna.com

¿Hielo, nieve dura y mucha pendiente?

With deep sadness, we remember Sergio Longoni, founder of DF Sport Specialist and a true reference point in the world of sport retail. For more than 50 years, we shared a relationship built on trust, respect, and a common passion for sport. Sergio was a man devoted to his work, but above all driven by passion and generosity that went far beyond economic results. He had the rare ability to build and pass on sincere, authentic human bonds with customers and suppliers alike, connections full of wisdom and life, always directed toward the well-being of his community and of the men and women of sport. A man, an entrepreneur, who deserves to be remembered. One of those people the world should never lose.

There’s nothing like seeing a dream come true✨ Yesterday we celebrated @giuliamurada 's Overall World Cup victory the way we know best: right here in our factory, where it all begins. A special moment, a well-deserved win, and a brand new pair of custom race skis made just for her. Because some victories deserve more than a crystal globe.

From his first race as a young talent to the Olympic stage, @arnolietha built a career as one of the top athletes in ski mountaineering sprint races, becoming a true benchmark in the discipline. “In Villars, it was a special sprint for me. I knew it would be my last, and I wanted to push myself to the limit one more time. Before the final, I had in mind that it would be the best way to end my career. Standing once again in the final with Oriol, Thibault, and my teammate Jon felt amazing. So I tried to enjoy the last final of my career.” Thank you, Arno, for sharing this incredible journey with us. Wishing you all the best for what’s ahead.✨ #skitrabber

OFF THE BEATEN TRACKS with @symon9v and @victorgarcin Some count vertical meters. Others count lines. On April 6th, our ambassadors Victor Garcin and Symon Wilfrenger traversed the Belledonne massif from east to west, following the sun for 30 km and 4,300 m of elevation gain in 12 hours. Seven steep descents linked together: from Grand Pic (5.4) to the couloirs of Grand Doménon and Pic Couttet (5.1), all the way to the lines of Grande Lance and Pic du Loup (5.3). Beyond the numbers, it was above all an exceptional day shared between friends, immersed in a unique setting, a true playground for those who love steep skiing.
