A few months ago, a group of photographers had the unique opportunity to visit the Canson Paper Mill, experience centuries of papermaking expertise first-hand and test our papers. Among our guests was Hanneke Van Camp, a nature photographer based in Belgium who spends most of the year travelling across Arctic Europe. Her winter images convey a sense of warmth and intimacy, making you want to be there even in the harshest climates. Eager to live a life closer to nature, she continues to push the boundaries of her comfort zone. She often captures her soft landscape photographs during sunrise hikes across the fells, taking in the surrounding environment. In this misty, suggestive world, it feels as if time stands still. Perth Pro Lab (@perthprolab ), a Canson® Infinity Certified Print Lab, was founded by photographer Paul Jarvis. It was born from years of frustration with traditional labs that could not match the care and precision he expected for his images. After spending more than 20 years behind the camera, Paul decided to learn how to print himself, driven by a desire to stay true to every detail and intention. What began in a spare room soon grew as fellow photographers entrusted him with their work, ranging from personal prints to award entries. Did you know? At the Canson Paper Mill, the first stage of papermaking is one of the most important. As fibres are suspended in water, their distribution and alignment determine how the paper will behave.
