Hey community 👋🏾 Samuel here. Today we got swept in north Sacramento off of edgewater. Citations were issued, properties taken, survival gear, and essentials thrown away by the city and its entities deeming that what we have to survive with is a non-essential. This is the reality for so many poor people—- wake up— displaced, moved. no resources, targeted, harassed, dehumanized, struggling to find safe place to sleep— wake up, & repeat. as the weather is about to take a turn & rain is coming here soon any donations, survival gear, resources, funds to support @crowned_gr8tnezz efforts would be appreciated. I come on here as a former camp resolution resident , along with my campmate & many of us are still out here. still enduring the revolutionary struggle. Camp Resolution showed me that there was a solution and another way of life built by the community for the community. The people I’ve met outside have taught me more than I could ever imagine. We survive out here together, through a men’s adversity and reality and struggle that no words could ever begin to describe. ‘Crowned by Greatness’ is a testament to the power that we have when community comes together to take care of one another. “We are not lost, just forgotten about.” Follow @crowned_gr8tnezz ‘Crowned by Greatness’ if you want to support this efforts. Will be updating here and speaking out about the harm still happening to poor, unhoused people in Sacramento Streets. Reach out if you want to donate, have any resources, or want to hangout with your unhoused community. Bridging the gap between unhoused and housed folx is tremendous important. Let’s show the city what “good neighbor policy” can look like. & Any financial support can be provided by link in bio of @crowned_gr8tnezz As always, Revolutionary love. Asé -Samuel

Sweep in north Sacramento Documentation —- 4/7/2026. Sacramento Police Department, DCR (department of community response), & other city departments (code enforcement, department of public works, Department of utilities, ect.) were out today in North Sacramento off Edgewater sweeping and ticketing individuals for camping. Both Chop and Myself got citations today and next run in with law enforcement around camping will lead to arrest. We are still out here, still surviving, still moving to make things work. Community and mutual aid is so necessary, especially as the conditions before people get worse. Was on live for 45minutes, phone cut out and footage lost… happens a lot when recording police.

A few photos captured by @feed_sacramento_homeless the amazing miss Bobbie, from our first community mutual aid event here in the north. Chop and I wanted to say thank you to all the people who came out and showed out to support the community. It was a personal reminder of what humanity can and does look like. As the world is in a place of turmoil and the fatigue of capitalism is consuming the all of everyday people , its moments and spaces like these that are the most important. It is easy to get caught up in the day to day living and we as unhoused poor people get the worst end of the stick constantly. It has felt (for myself at least) that many people have forgotten or stopped the fight around the unhoused community since @campresolution closing. I make this statement as a testament and reminder that majority of us are still out here. Struggling every day to be seen and treated with dignity as the world around us deems us disposable. As chop continues to tell me , “nobody is going to help us, but us.” And that is what this event was for us. A reminder that everyday we are still here, trying our best, and never knowing who or what will be the everything that gets you to the next day. Community is tremendously important, more than ever right now. Don’t forget about us, your unhoused neighbors. A meal, clothes, space to be safe can change the means of someone’s whole existence. Truly. Because I know there have been too many days where I have felt the world caving too much on my shoulders , and it be the people you wouldn’t never expect to show up and save your life. In honor of our lost ones in the streets. May you rest in power and never be forgotten. Special thank you to ( @brightcoastproductions @therighttoexist ) for showing the film about Camp Resolution and the housing crisis here in Sacramento . Thank you to @sacramento.punks.with.lunch for the food, supplies, & support. And shout out to @bnbunity for always holding a niggah down and showing up for the revolutionary people always. And to every person who came out and showed support , thank you. Truly. With Revolutionary Love, Always. Asé -Samuel

MUTUAL AID + COMMUNITY FEED +   FILM SCREENING 🎬 ‼️ Join us for a meal, mutual aid, community, &  a film screening of ‘The Right to Exist’ — a documentary about Camp Resolution and the ongoing housing crisis here in Sacramento.  Mutual aid is especially needed right now. Recent sweeps, harsh weather conditions, and increased enforcement continue to put our unhoused neighbors in danger. This gathering is a space to share resources, learn, and support one another in community. Most importantly create a safe space for us to be and eat, rest, and exist without fear in Del Paso Heights (the hood that camp resolution started from)  ✨️We are collecting donations: • non-perishable food • clothing (socks, shoes, rain gear, coats, & plus size men’s & women’s sizes in need) • hygiene supplies • survival gear (tents, tarps, blankets, sleeping bags, backpacks) & any helpful community resources (zines, legal services, ect.) If you plan to bring donations please arrive at 4:00 PM so we can organize before the event begins. Drop offs are more than welcome!  DM on IG @samuelslewis_  for details. 🗓 Saturday, Feb 28, 2026 🕔 5:00–8:00 PM 📍 Robertson Community Center 3525 Norwood Ave, Sacramento For more information or questions please contact: [email protected] ✊🏿✊🏼✊🏽Everyone is welcome - Unhoused,  Housed & Poor Peoples Alike. Bring a friend! #SacramentoEvents #CommunityCare #MutualAid #HousingIsAHumanRight

Sacramento city police came out and arrested 6 folx during the storm while flooding out the tree line on the leeve where my camp mates and I spot was at. Chop just got out in time before the dogs heads were under water. During the middle of the storm this is what the city and county of Sacramento choose to do while people are trying to survive. This is cruel. People are dying out side. It’s is not fair to punish people for not having anywhere to go.
