The Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron is located within a heavily fortified area, where checkpoints are numerous and IDs are constantly checked, restricting the movement of residents and further tightening the noose around surrounding homes. The area is also heavily monitored by cameras, a security measure implemented after the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre, which led to the mosque's division between Muslims and Jews and the imposition of restrictions on entry and prayer.

But Sac is supposed to be a “sanctuary city” right?? Targeted or not, a warrant or not, a missed check-in our not, we should never allow this to be normalized in our community! S/o to the community member who stepped in to do what she could to protect her neighbors and to the young man who did what he could to protect his familia in Natomas today! ✊🏿✊🏾

Palestinians in Hebron’s Old City are forced to erect iron fences over alleyways to protect themselves from garbage thrown at them by settlers from above. The Old City now resembles a ghost town; Palestinian homes have been seized and numerous shops in several neighborhoods have closed, transforming what was once a bustling center of life and commerce into a place almost devoid of residents

Recent sweeps, harsh weather conditions, and increased enforcement continue to put our unhoused neighbors in danger. While the city, county, and American Government continue to criminalize - dehumanize - & and kill poor peoples; we ask for community support & eyes to bare witness to the cruel realities unhoused people face everyday here in Sacramento. This gathering is a space to share resources, learn, and support one another in community. Most importantly create a safe space for us to be and eat, rest, and exist without fear in Del Paso Heights (the hood that camp resolution started from)  We are collecting donations: • non-perishable food • clothing (socks, shoes, rain gear, coats, & plus size men’s & women’s sizes in need) • hygiene supplies • survival gear (tents, tarps, blankets, sleeping bags, backpacks) & any helpful community resources (zines, legal services, ect.) High school walkout in Roseville 2/4/26. 👀 Spy my daughter in the second photo dumping ice in the streets to be crushed. You’ll never convince me that a bunch of boot-licking MAGA understand the constitution better than the generation who can quote Hamilton word for word. It’ll never happen. Her sweatshirt reads: “if you stand for nothing, what will you fall for?” I saw a bright young girl holding a sign today that read: “we’re skipping our lessons to teach you one.” The kids are alright, aren’t they?
