April 7-12, With over 170 athletes from 18 countries, Calgary Alpine had four U16 athletes qualify to represent both Canada 🇨🇦 and Great Britain 🇬🇧 in the 2026 Whistler Cup! Competing in slalom, GS and Super G, these athletes raced well, including five top 10 finishes and one spectacular pirouette 🫢

The 2025/2026 recipient of the Abby Award for Calgary Alpine is our U10 Race athlete Winston! Winston exemplifies everything that the Abby Award represents. Not only does he try his best, giving 110%, he loves skiing and he is a fantastic teammate! Congratulations Winston 🩷
Viva l’Italia! Calgary Alpine had three U16 athletes qualify to compete in the 44th Pinocchio Sugli Sci, an international race hosted in Abetone, Italy. The athletes competed in slalom and giant slalom. Supported by our own Coach Erin and Coach Johnny (from @sunshine_alpine_racers ) the athletes proudly represented Alberta and Calgary Alpine on the world stage!

Tradition. The Rob Bosinger memorial weekend and the Kinder Cup is a tradition for Calgary Alpine as we end our season with the dual slalom race. We aren’t sure whether our athletes are more competitive about the race or our costumes 🤣 This year was Super Mario 🎮 and BaSKIball ⛷️🏀 Congrats to the winners and to our own U16 athlete, Blade, for winning the Rob Bosinger Scholarship. See you next year!
