Itâs hard to believe itâs all come to an end. This season has been absolutely amazing, and I canât thank everyone involved enough.
A heartfelt thank you to @maddie._.nuss and everyone in 10th street.
Another huge shoutout to the wonderful people and performers from @northwest_eos , Prairie, Kennedy, and of course Ankeny Centennial. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Hey everyone, it's Saturday, and we all know what that means -- The Genesis Clinic opens at noon!
I don't even know where to possibly start this post, but I can say, from the depths of my soul, thank you 10th Street Edition. From the anxiety-packed audition season of my freshman year, to the lists being released and shamelessly obsessing over them, and onto the most painful (yet satisfying) rehearsals of my life, I can say it was worth it. To everyone I've had the honor of working with and getting know, to everyone I talked to at the various shows, to the dozens of friends I've kissed on the forehead or hugged for awkward amounts of time, or cried like a baby with -- I love you all.
This show, besides being my first with this amazing group, means more to me than I could have ever imagined or thought I could understand. The people of this group, being truly united under one of the most creative undertakings I've ever seen, could never be matched. The amount of pure talent and selfless friendship expressed by every single member of this group has both broken my heart and simultaneously shown me the true meaning of showchoir and what it truly means to the world. Thank you 10th Street Edition, Trenton Buglewicz, Lexi Robson, April James, Erik Hall, Braxton Carr, Austin Berry, and many, many more.
...Well, it seems the alarms are going off. I can't wait to see you guys outside of this alternate reality we live in, but it looks like the Genesis Clinic is closing soon.... Goodbye everyone, and I'll see you very soon... To everyone I've met or gotten to know this season... I love you all dearly, and I would give anything to be able to make this season last forever. Thank you.
Change is a powerful thing. âď¸âď¸

A massive thank you to zoeymarciniak for being one of my favorite people of all time, and for being such a creative genius đ¤đ¤
From not knowing any of your notes and rhythms, to questionably productive rehearsals, to falling asleep on top of your soprano, allstate has been one hell of a time this year. Last year was rough, but I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to learn and grow with, and in the end, to call my friends. Thank you all so much, and I can't wait to see what next year has in store. To all Allstaters who auditioned today; no matter the results or how you're feeling right now, you've come out of this process a better performer and person. I love you all.
