We are currently seeking musicians and conducting candidates for our last remaining orchestra/conducting positions for the 2026 Prague Summer Nights: Young Artists Music Festival, including:
1 Violin
1 Viola
1 Assistant Conductor
We are also seeking one orchestra librarian-focused Arts Administration candidate.
Orchestra program participants will have the opportunity to perform in fully staged productions of Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Die Zauberflöte in Prague, as well as orchestral concerts and chamber music performances throughout the festival.
Participants will work closely with an international faculty and roster of guest professional artists from leading orchestras and institutions, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and the Prague Philharmonia, as well as faculty from the Eastman School of Music, The Juilliard School, the University of Texas at Austin, Oberlin Conservatory, Northwestern University, and the University of Michigan.
Conducting participants will have the opportunity to observe and assist in the preparation of major opera and orchestral repertoire, work closely with festival conductors and artistic leadership, and gain hands-on experience in a professional rehearsal and performance environment.
The full festival runs June 15 - July 13, 2026 in Tábor and Prague, Czech Republic.
Scholarships available. Housing fee credits may also be available for local students who do not require festival housing.
