“Orpheus” is officially out in the world and I couldn’t be more proud of what this record became.
Six years ago I discovered @iammattkent at a music competition in New York City. I knew immediately I was watching something rare. From that night to this moment, managing and producing him, we have built something extraordinary. From that stage in NYC to over 14million streams on “Lacrimosa,” which led to a collaboration with Searchlight Pictures and ByteDance born from his viral TikTok series, and performances at some of the most iconic venues in the world, this journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
Last June, Matt and @iamlivlester brought me “Orpheus.” The melody, the structure, the lyrics stopped me in my tracks. We locked into the studio for 10 days and recorded an entire album. But as we were closing in on the finish line with this song, something told me we weren’t done. I heard a different musical world living inside it and I brought that vision to Matt and his co-writer Liv Lester. They felt it immediately. What followed was a true three-way collaboration, and what started as a beautiful classical/pop song became something rawer, more soulful, more alive. Live drums, B3 organ, Rhodes, piano, soulful choir. Ancient myth told through modern soul.
This is the record I always imagined making. It resonates with every musical influence that has shaped me from the beginning.

Last night I had the chance to attend The Music Has Power Symposium, and it was genuinely one of the most #inspiring events I’ve been to in a long time. Every speaker tapped directly into the heart of why I’ve devoted my life to #music, #wellness, and human connection.
Hearing the research on how music shapes emotion, memory, behavior, and #brainhealth felt like complete alignment for the work we are building. Then Joanna Peña Bickley took the stage and introduced what she is creating with Vibes AI Lab, and my mind was blown. Her vision for cognitive wellness and human centered technology is on a completely new level.
Dr. Daniel Bowling from Stanford delivered incredible insight on rhythm, emotion, and the brain that had the entire room fully tuned in. Connecting with Maejor and hearing more about his journey with healing frequencies was powerful and deeply motivating.
Huge thanks to the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function for curating such a meaningful experience. Nights like this remind me that music is not just entertainment. It is medicine. It is memory. It is connection. It is a language the mind and body understand long before words.
I am heading into today feeling energized and grateful as we continue developing our own music healing platform, coming soon. The future of frequency based wellness is unfolding quickly, and the science is finally catching up to what many of us in this field have felt for years.
