Some routing work on an upcoming commission build.
Bass guitar building, guitar building, wood working, in the traditional sense can be highly unsafe. From toxic resins that can be found in some exotic woods, to splinters, to chunks of flying wood moving at the speed of a .22... there can be a great deal of hazard attached to the beauty that is created.
Think of how electricians get hazard pay on their projects. This is because they could actually die doing their job, and because most people are too afraid to do that job.
When you see a finished bass, one that is both beautiful to look at and extremely playable, just know that a lot of energy, time, and love went into that finished product.

Last weekend I got to link with my brother and JClef Artist Partner @bmacmusik
Oddly enough, this is the first time he's ever gotten to play a JClef other than his custom JC
But I did also get to do some work on that JC to make it even more of a killer. Upgraded his Bartolini preamp to the JClef Custom Bartolini, upgraded his neck pickup so now he has dual Double J Soapbars 😤.
Y'all keep an eye and an ear out for Brandon in the ATL and surrounding areas. My brother is a problem on every instrument he plays, especially on that bass.💪🏿
