Usually I am more into black builds but the recently released 30mm @vittoriatires Corsa Pros with pink sidewall really opened up some opportunities to color-weigh this build a little different! Shoutout to @supercyclingstore for these beauties 💕 Also, I love how the pink @cinelli_official bartape and the @Knog X @efprocycling lights blend into this fully overloaded scheme. Original @giroditalia merchandise bidons for the finishing touch 😮‍💨😮‍💨 Opinions??? Oh and apart from these pink tweaks, I also did some more subtle changes to my initial build from November: I changed the MOMO cockpit from 140mm to 120mm and the @sqlab saddle from 130mm to 120mm. Long before gravel there was cyclocross and these bikes combined road bike geometry with huge tire clearance and cantilever brakes for muddy conditions. Where gravel bikes mostly feel too slack, these bikes are exactly what you want: Quick handling, huge flexibility to build while still being relatively light weight. Paul built this baddie up with mudguards and hub dynamo for full city usability. 🔵🟡 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟗 𝐅𝟕𝟎𝟎 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥’𝐝 𝐮𝐩 🟡🔵 Today we have something slightly different: @ride_revive_uk s F700 in Volvo team colours built up as a trial bike: As a former teen trials biker, now nearly 40, Gavin never lost that “trials mindset” of eyeing every wall or bench as a potential line. In 2023 he started building 90s bikes that balance long-distance capability with trials capable components. Although Gavin is 6’2” and usually rides 20-inch frames (like his bigger F700), he wanted something smaller and more flickable. This 16-inch build is a bit of a nod to his childhood heroes, Martyn Ashton and Lance Trappe. By mixing retro and modern components, Gavin created a bike that feels like home and handles exactly how he wanted. Flawless execution I’d say! 🩶❤️💛 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟑 𝐂𝐀𝐀𝐃 𝟕 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨 🩶❤️💛 You won’t see something like this very often: This is a very rare 2003 CAAD 7 Optimo in the Saeco Team Replica version. Two things are special about it: 1. On this model, Gilberto Simoni won the Giro d’Italia in 2003. Gilberto wanted to do the race on a very light model and therefore the entire frame was kept in polished, rare aluminum - CAAD in its purest form if you will. 2. The frame is not even clear coated, which means the decals sit on the frame without any protection. If you look closely at the photos you can see the decals’ borders. Only the time fork features a thin clear coat. I had this frame set built up fully Italian, i.e. with a NOS Campagnolo 10s Record Titanium groupset and Campagnolo Hyperon carbon wheels. The full build was sitting at 7.0kgs only with period correct parts, which I still find very impressive for a size 56 alloy frame build. Now the frame is on its way to a good friend and collector in Singapore and maybe we will see a comeback here once it has been built up properly (no doubt about that by the way lol) Cheers Apologies for the blurry cover pic but yea

❤️💛 𝐂𝐀𝐀𝐃 𝟏𝟒 𝐯𝐬 𝐂𝐀𝐀𝐃 𝟒 ❤️💛 Can you imagine 25 years have passed between these two CAADs? CAAD 4-14 means 25 years or 10 model generations of the same DNA! To illustrate this tradition to the max for you, I asked my friends at @maviccycling for one of their KSYRIUM SL HERITAGE wheelsets (spiced up with some custom vintage decals). Sporting this polished alloy wheelset on my new CAAD 14 should be a great inspiration for all retro peeps out there. To make it a perfect analogy, I also had my amazing custom saddle painted by leichtzinn Lastly, I used identical parts/brands on both bikes: Campagnolo carbon groupset, Elite Ciussi bottle cages, Cinelli Cork bartape, Vittoria tires, Look pedals, Thomson Elite seatpost. Hope you like this little experiment! Flew to Munich (first time ever), stayed less than 52h and, basically, in a 300–400m stretch of a street. Hotel → coffee spot → Marcel’s CAAD museum ( @caadastrophe ) → hotel. That’s where I saw the new @ridecannondale CAAD14 for the first time, watched the build, and documented it (you know, my usual way of working and aim to keep Andreas happy with the photos ).
