Yesterday alongside 5 other businesses and numerous collaborators/partners/supporters, we launched Rarify’s pop-up at 924 Market Street in Philadelphia as part of Meantime on Market, an initiative to re-active part of the Market East neighborhood and existing vacant storefronts in Philadelphia, implemented by Center City District and Interface Studio Architects (ISA) though the nonprofit Meantime. We’re immensely proud to be a part of this effort.
As part of our space, we’ve crafted a collection of accessible used and vintage works, reclaimed from large building projects, while simultaneously incorporating ceramic art, drawings, and furniture design by Philly-based arts and designers. As the pop-up continues into August, this space will evolve and mature to incorporate a more robust group of local collaborators, show off some of Pennsylvania’s design history, and create a more shoppable experience than our showroom with more accessible price points.
Thanks to all partners and collaborators involved. Thanks also to Meantime for making this all possible.
