Isaiah Artese (@couldntsayenough ) is a photographer who’s been capturing underground music scenes on his film camera, with a precise ability to capture presence, energy, depth, and color 🔍
Backstage, mid-performance, outside, in the studio — Isaiah is everywhere the music is. Working in hip-hop and DIY scenes in both New York City and Philadelphia, Isaiah captures the heartbeat of indie and alternative music with his camera. His taste reflects the spaces he finds himself in, as he has shot artists like 454, El Cousteau, Earl Sweatshirt, YL, Laron, Swami Sound, LIFEOFTHOM, and many more.
“A core part of my practice—and something I consider essential to my growth—is understanding that I am a service just as much as I am an artist. My work doesn’t exist in isolation; it lives in collaboration. That means actively listening, recognizing how others wish to be seen, and honoring the weight of that trust.”

amidst this portfolio design process i’ve been allowed to recontextualize my past projects thru developing a succinct minimalist style of formatting. i still have so much to reflect on as i add and organize new pages, but i am excited to share what i have thus far.
i am open for photo work. would love to create with graphic designers and illustrators. i‘d like to shoot more products and objects. lights, sculptures, furniture, tables, homes, clothing, jewelry, bicycles, chairs, instruments. as well as some of the people who create them..
an email would be great, but dms are fine :)
