Hosted by @theyoungjesus with special guest @djwaxfiend (AMS), the discussion will move from practical insights on event creation to broader reflections on DIY nightlife communities. The chat will be followed by a DJ set from our CSC member and killer DJ on the rise @c.dez__ , as a part of the informal networking and bevies portion of the night. About WES LEE: Wes Lee is an Amsterdam-based DJ, producer, programmer, and founder of the @tribesnl party series, dedicated to advancing African and Afro-diasporic electronic music and community. He hosts events at major venues including @paradisoadam and has collaborated with artists such as Cincity and DBN Gogo, with contributions to ADE and Amsterdam Open Air. After two decades shaping the Netherlands’ hip-hop and dancehall scene as WaxFiend, he continues this work through his DJ sets, programming, and long-term community building.
