After one year of taking @hypegalmedia full time, I noticed a few things…
🖤 You will have days of doubt
Should I have quit comfort? Wouldn’t it be nice to clock in and clock out? Leave work at work? But honestly these days are very minimal and the pros outweighed the cons for myself (but I would be lying if I never thought this in the past year)
🖤 You will hear that “you’re so lucky”
Most times they will mean it in an admirable way but it will still feel weird, because it wasn’t luck it was a lot of hard work and truly years of the same work before it *took off*
🖤 It will fly by!!
Honestly the last year feels like one big blur to me, thankful for my camera roll to remind me where I was and when, because it is so hard to remember. It was so go go go, I told myself I would say yes to everything in the first year to really take it all in and set my own benchmarks and it was the best way to trial and error a new career path
One year of being a full time hype gal!!
LOL my dream job tbh BUT SRSLY the wedding industry is not for the weak, let me tell you!!
The hours are long, our bodies are sore and we’re doing it time and time again!
ALSO as a wedding content creator we are definitely at the party, hyping our couples to be the life of the party but don’t get it twisted. We are working, we’re on the clock and getting that content, carrying the content of everyone’s labor on our back 😂🫶🏼
