👀 Lowkey terrified to do this, because I have no idea how the response is going to be... but it’s time to not JUST talk about fashion anymore! 🫢
It’s funny because social media is this massive place,
but for some reason it still puts everyone (including myself) into a niche. And for the longest time my niche was style advice & then it became African Fashion (which btw, has been my favourite box of them all so far🙈)
but… Content is my way of expressing myself. Not just my job, so it becomes difficult to just make that ONE thing, and the truth is:
I LOVE A LOT OF THINGS! 😆👠📱🥦🍔📚
But that doesn’t mean I’m not scared haha, because that’s what people know me for, so I have no idea how the response is going to be & where this is all gonna go. (should have probably mentioned that I’m also a perfectionist, that loves control lol)
But one thing I know is, I truly LOVE creating content! REAL content that connects & changes people. So it just feels right for this to be the next step in my journey, because I’ve got so many things planned that I’d love to share on here! This obviously doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop talking about fashion, because that’s part of my DNA at this point, but it just means that it’s time to elevate and move up to the next level! 🫱🏽🫲🏾

Everyone says to present a perfect end product, but I kinda feel like what’s the point of building a community if you can’t ask them to grow and build something special with you instead?

I feel like a lot of us are struggling because we “should” be happy after achieving everything we’ve worked so hard for, that we wonder what went wrong when we aren’t.
What if I told you that a simple break could be the solution to it all? ✨
And when I’m talking break I don’t mean 2 days. I’m talking WEEKS! Because once you allow your nervous system to completely come down, you start to see things clearly again.
You might even notice the right path again because you’re forced to go within and ask yourself the “deep stuff” you’ve been too busy to answer, while “living the dream!”
What started out as a 7 day social media detox for me, turned into a FULL ON 3 weeks of self discovery within my career and personal growth, and I am SO GRATEFUL for it!!!
I cannot wait to share with you guys some of the biggest revelations I’ve had in that time, because this video is definitely just the beginning of it! 🙏🏾✨
