Brand spankin’ new
@hissgoldenmessenger record out today that I had the pleasure of engineering. Lots to say about this one but I’ll keep it tight. Met Mike back in 2012 and have really been in his orbit ever since, wearing lots of hats, engineering, playing guitar, mixing, mastering, touring etc but most of all as a friend. He’s such a deep well of knowledge regarding music, art, books, life et al. I’m kinda all-in on anything he wants me to be a part of. This record was recorded over a week in April 2025 at Dreamland in upstate NY - a gorgeous old church with a long musical history. Josh Kaufman (
@kaufyismynamo ) produced with such care and sensitivity (if you need a producer, call Josh!!!!!). He’s also the most insane one-take guitar player I’ve ever witnessed. JT Bates (

@djamesgoodwin ). Nothing happens though first without these songs written by Mike. I look forward to touring this record in the fall in the guitar seat. Out today on
