20 years ago ! First Dubstep night in Belgium at the @beursschouwburg 21 January 2006 ! Happy birthday to all the dubsteppers in Belgium ! More than 20 years ago I used to work for Dirk Seghers @segherspang at the Beursschouwburg, pretty much in the center of Brussels, in order to book local dj's, every Friday and Saturday, in the Beurscafé. During that period I was following the growth of Dubstep in the UK and Dirk, the artistic manager of the venue at that time, was really curious about my enthusiasm and gave me "carte blanche" to book the artists I knew would represent the Dubstep phenomena. So @skreamizm (London) was booked, @djyoungsta and his host Task (London) and also Dj Thinking (Bristol). The local support acts were Grimelock @bxlgilles / @yoann_jnsns and myself BunZer0... The excitement for that night reached its climax when, 10 days before, @maryannehobbs_ gave me a shout during the legendary Breezeblock Dubstep Warz radio show on @bbcradio1 . From there I felt really confident about how the party will happen and indeed, it was sold out ! This night was the first of many others in Brussels and the whole Kingdom of Belgium.
