There are moments in this career that feel almost impossible to put into words… and this was one of them. Hearing something that once only lived in your head — your ideas, your notes, your intention — come to life through a room full of incredible musicians is a feeling unlike anything else. There is truly nothing greater than hearing your music performed live. Working on this project with @elleking was exactly that kind of experience. She is the true definition of an artist — constantly evolving, fearless in stepping outside her comfort zone, and always searching for something deeper. Her voice carries so much strength, truth, and vulnerability… a genuine storyteller in every sense. Huge gratitude to Jonny Dinklage for bringing together such an incredible orchestra — the level of musicianship in that room was extraordinary. And my dream team:
Fritz Meyers — the most organized, dialed-in engineer you could ever hope for.
Austin Burket — an outstanding copyist who made everything seamless.
Bach Norwood — the best score supervisor, keeping it all together with clarity and calm. It takes a village to bring music like this to life, and I’m so grateful to have shared this experience with such brilliant humans. Still taking it all in 💜 🎻

“So…you want us to thread a piece of paper in our strings and do what…?” I got this crazy idea to do some prepared viola / cello / bass in “Death Before Dishonor” coming soon from the one and only @elleking These fearless and fierce musicians didn’t question but embraced my weird idea and this was the result.
