This morning I woke up to pounding of hammers and screeching of chainsaws coming from the studio. I ran back to see about the commotion and found that the iso room had been perfectly renovated into a ‘dead room’. The interns, covered head to tow in fresh powder, had torn out the ceiling and replaced it with a much improved fabric wall, complete with 6” thick Rockwool stuffed in the joists. Hats off to Lucas and Miles. I don’t know how you pulled this off so fast and under my nose before 9am. Love you boyos. Come record yr dead ass folk, soul, lofi hip hop and 70’s rock drums.

2nd annual Holiday Classics is upon us. It’s a no-stress, holiday decompress, featuring another couple christmas flicks and one decidedly NON-christmas hollywood blockbuster. @messuhya is graciously hosting in their fresh new lounge. These are intentionally mellow weeknight hangs. I’ll be making popcorn and cocoa. Feel free to bring whatever food(to share or pound yrself), drink, instrument, dog you like. damn, that was the sweetest flippin’ lil tattoo expo / car show i ever seen. all the homies rolled out. the cars, wagons and vans were filled with character, not turtle wax. some guy did a handstand. @tattoos.by.bredd and @tonydegrazia absolutely killed.
