We’re reviving our weekly round-ups. Here we go: last week we mostly…
☀️Learnt about the history of
@dthiltonbrightonmet and got a private concert with the inimitable
@snowwhitetrash and her sexy sax
☀️Had an after-hours tour of the new Dragons exhibition at the Royal Pavilion (there are dragons - new and old - everywhere if you look carefully or are lucky enough to have fascinating curator
@saschaloske point them out and give you the backstory)
☀️Followed this up with dinner
@theivyasia to celebrate the Royal Dragons collab with the museum: £58 gets you an annual pass to the Pavilion, and an exclusive two-course meal and a glass of champagne at Ivy Asia until 27th July. With £10 of that going to charity, we reckon it’s pretty darn good value
☀️Tried our first infra-red sauna
@ochromahomesauna and found it infinitely less hot and sweaty than the traditional ones. Plus it penetrates the skin more deeply so one for those post-workout aches
☀️Finally made it over to
@howieatgreys and can confirm that we, too, are big fans of everything we’ve tried so far. Basque crisps with whipped feta, sundried tomatoes and olives and burrata with chilli crunch and romesco sauce. Oh yeah.
☀️In another week of firsts for us, we went to
@foodgillysmith ’s live cookbook podcast event (Cooking The Books) featuring cheftimanderson. It definitely won’t be our last and buzzy
@patio______ is the perfect spot for it.
@ingrid_cooks magicked up her versions of some of Tim’s JapanEasy Kitchen recipes using
@sussexsurplus and god, they were good. Felicity Cloake is Gilly’s next guest on 12th May and you should go.
Phew. As we head into the first week of the busiest (and arguably best) month of the year, give us a follow if you want our top picks ⬆️
