The Apex Group Bermuda @SailGP is almost here ⛵️🇧🇲
Thirteen teams from around the world are coming to Bermuda this May 9–10 to race across the Great Sound at speeds 100 km/h. With racing unfolding just offshore, you can enjoy front-row views from land or sea, making it one of the most accessible and high-energy stops on the international circuit.
Beyond the excitement, the impact of hosting this event is massive. The last Bermuda Sail GP in May 2024 resulted in $4.9 million in economic impact, drawing more than 4,000 spectators and 13.5 million dedicated broadcast viewers.

We brought the sights, sounds, and flavours of Bermuda to the CN Tower in Toronto earlier this month 🇨🇦🇧🇲
The teams at BTA, Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa, and BermudAir partnered up to put on an evening of destination-inspired conversation and connection with Toronto-area advisors, meeting planners, and tour operators. Our Q1 growth from the Canadian market has already surpassed last year's performance, and we're looking forward to strengthening our Canadian connection through the rest of 2026 and beyond.
Arrivals to Bermuda from Canada were up 25.6% last year, with leisure air visitors increasing from 9,698 in 2024 to 12,641 in 2025. The island’s momentum in the market is expected to continue in 2026 as projected air capacity from Canada is set to increase from Toronto, Montréal, and Halifax.
