In 2026, our community came together stronger than ever for the Great Big Bermuda Cleanup: ♻️ 26,370 pounds of waste removed 🙌 1,434 volunteers mobilized ⏰ 2,343 volunteer hours donated 🎓 912 students took action 🔄 4,960 lbs of recyclables collected 📍 63 cleanup sites across Bermuda That’s not just growth. That’s a movement. 💚 From schools and families to corporates and community groups, thousands of people stepped forward to protect the island we all call home. Together, we proved that when Bermuda works as one, real change happens. Huge accomplishment for these small but mighty team mates! 🤩💪 ⚽️The St. George’s Colts Youth Football⚽️ players, parents and coaches met up today at: ✅️Mullet Bay Playground, ✅️Old Military Road, ✅️Grenadier Lane, ✅️Barry Road, and ✅️Drew's Bay to honor pledges mades towards their 🚮Trash-a-Thon fundraiser♻️ earn funds for their upcoming Football Tour in Canada.🇨🇦✈️ Every single player dove right in, tackled the debris, and scored HUGE amounts of litter, bringing them one step closer to their goal! 🥅 *500 pounds* was collected, thanks to their pure determination, dedication, and drive!! 💥 🤩 We are determined to be able to provide this experience of a lifetime for these worthy and talented boys and girls! 🌿 FrayStar Gives Back 💚 What started as a simple act of service turned into a powerful reminder of what community truly looks like. Today, FrayStar Cricket Institute proudly took part in the Great Big Bermuda Cleanup, and what a beautiful day it turned out to be! ☀️ We were joined by our FrayStar family, supporters, and members of X-Roads Football Club. Along the way, passersbys stopped to thank us — a small gesture that meant so much and reminded us why this work matters. Together, we cleaned the railway trail between Flatts and Shelly Bay and collected: 🗑️ 8 black bags of trash ♻️ 4 blue bags of plastic 🍾 12 bags filled with bottles, tins, and aluminum While we’re proud of the effort, it’s also a reminder that we must do better. Much of what we found appeared to be discarded from passing vehicles — and that impacts all of us. At FrayStar, we don’t just develop cricketers — we develop responsible citizens. Today was about accountability, teamwork, and respect for our island home. Many hands make light work.
