This piece glows yellow hues in the window and shifts the mood of the space directly to joy. Hand-painted on fine Japanese linen it filters the light through two layers that move gently in the breeze.
This was the piece that started painted textiles becoming an important part of the studio.

🌱 My name is Chloe. I always knew the translation to mean: ‘a little green shoot’. I like the connection to the spring and new growth and I feel like my creative business is a lot like this young burst of life that needs care to see it bloom.
From my Lisbon studio I design prints and make things for the lives of customers who become friends or friends who have become customers. This is an end of bed quilt made with our screen printed cotton, a cotton fill and hand stitched details and we will be making more of these this spring.

The Clover print. Made for the beauty we are finding and the luck we are making.
If my Grandad was near grass he was looking for four leafed clover, my son has one cast in resin and wears it around his neck, proclaiming he is lucky. I like all the clover ☘️ (3) for the everyday beauty and 🍀(4) for the rare magic moments we find.
Printed on deadstock nutmeg linen in a limited edition and in greens and peaches on white linen. This design is now available by the meter or made into custom pieces.
In the shop we have napkins, runners and special edition cushions made with the design, filled with wool and featuring beautiful glazed ceramic buttons by @martacypel
Chloe from @bryonstudios asked me to design and build a ladder to display her finest fabrics on. I settled for a slim silhouette from solid oak with round wedged tenons as a highlight. But the real heroes are the fabrics of course! Go and check them out at @bryonstudios in Lisbon!
