On the 23rd of January, my wife Emma tragically lost her truly beautiful brother, Christopher Luyendijk... Her parents Penny & Leo lost their compassionate son... His wife Amy, the love of her life… I, my brilliantly funny brother-in-law, who felt like a brother of blood.
Massively talented musician. Precious older brother. He exuded kindness, yet was able to just-as-sharply crack a wise one with impeccable timing.
He was so many things to so many people; all of which common denominate to him being one of the brightest lights in the lives of those he touched over the past 34 years.
Chris was an outrageously gifted cellist, guitarist, poet, and songwriter, who touched countless lives with his musical gifts. In the coming days, weeks, months, and years, we’re determined to make it our mission to continue sharing Chris’ incredible music. For the rest of our lives. ((You can listen now on Spotify under the artists **Lava Kiss** and **Chris Willow** and **Chris Cape** …Please help us celebrate his legacy by listening, sharing, and caring for others, how he cared for us all❤️))
These past weeks, Emma and I have been here in London with family; together for all that’s followed. Family is everything.

My brother-in-law struggled with depression for many years, a fight he fought bravely and selflessly. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to Mind, a UK Mental Health charity. Chris admired this organization, which seeks to improve access to mental health care. || .uk/donate/
