Sorry to hear about the passing of Jack Douglas. Here we are messing around in @westlakestudios Studio E. His sessions always had a great vibe, and he highly respected the folks working for him. This 2009 session was particularly fun since the Red Sox were playing the Yankees at the time. Jack was a New Yorker, and me from Boston made for some lively conversations to say the least. After working with Jack, I used to see him and his rocker friends hanging at Kings Road Cafe. Jack produced John Lennon, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, New York Dolls, and more, but he started out like me at Record Plant Recording Studios. It was nice knowing you, Jack. #jackdouglas #ripjackdouglas
