more than miles. hear their stories…
RUN Hyde Park — a midweek walk, jog, run meet up in Chicago’s history South Side Hyde Park neighborhood that did more than just hit the pavement. we redefined what running looks like and experienced what we can achieve when choose ourselves:
✨we set goals & aimed higher:
@jamie_caston x
@runnotesbyjamieis on a 100+ day running streak and just broke a sub-2 hour half-marathon time.
✨we found freedom in movement:
@_denairio_bolt ran his first relay, completed #100milesofsummer all while studying for his PhD.
✨we moved with a deeper purpose:
@chicagoschrislyd raised awareness + donations for food insecurity, back-to-school initiatives, and mental health for parents running #milesthatmatter with the
@lydfoundation .
✨we pushed past our own perceived limits:
@brianaclearly prioritized showing up for herself & ran her first 5k!
in it’s simplest intention, what started as a safe space to move quickly evolved to a source of personal elevation amongst community where every single person was seen, supported, & uplifted.
to these four community leaders & every smile that pulled up to share a lakefront (s)miles throughout #100milesofsummer summer, thank you for trusting me with your bodies and more importantly, your hearts, as we unfolded together through movement.
to my partner in magic
@meeks_p and the lululemon Hyde Park store team, thank you for taking care of every runner and being comforting smile at every finish.
here’s to more miles, more smiles, and more trot talks bringing you closer to your inner home.
