“Closer To It”, 2026, is now available as a print 🌟 produced in Paris and drawn from my first exhibition, “Waiting Room”, at Long Story Short, currently on view until February 28th. Conceived alongside this body of work, Closer To It distills the exhibition’s emotional register into a quieter, more tactile format; one that rewards time, proximity, and attention. Printed using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g, the surface carries a remarkable depth and softness, remaining faithful to the original work’s gesture and atmosphere.
Each print is signed and individually numbered by myself, released in a tightly held edition of 10, plus 1 artist’s proof.

“Waiting Room” a solo exhibition with @longstoryshort.paris and @cierrabrittongallery is on view until February 28th
A waiting room is a liminal space; a state of transition; a physical and metaphorical point where one pauses before moving to the next. Across eleven new works, Andy’s “Waiting Room” unfolds within this threshold. Considering the domestic spaces we occupy and the cogitations that occupy us, she visualizes interior scenes where women are intimately suspended in thought, both alone and with one another. Closely highlighting body language and gazes transfixed beyond the frame, we see the figures present in the paintings, yet seemingly elsewhere internally—their postures suggesting rumination. With routine objects, such as papers, chairs, and ashtrays, mindfully positioned alongside the body as grounding elements, Andy’s works reflect how and where women take space to sit with themselves, while also asking what may be revealed in their stillness.
Waiting Room captures the moments hung before an inevitable shift.

my debut solo exhibition, “Waiting Room” with @longstoryshort.paris & @cierrabrittongallery opens Saturday, January 31st.
the ways in which we process thoughts, ideas, emotions is often a personal and hidden experience. questioning when or how we will do what we envision, take a first step, get over a thing. there is much beauty to be found in the often confusing phases of transition. I have unveiled new parts myself through them, and even within the isolation and stillness that painting also requires. this work has been a way to communicate and romanticize what those moments of pause are. what does it look like when we need to be with ourselves alone?
not enough words for how i feel to bring all of this to Paris, but it’s gonna be sick. hope to see and meet some of you there. c’est parti! 🌟
